Dora the band

Dora is one of the so many pidgeons living in our nameless cities. In these cities one can find her in all kind of types and shapes:
Poor, rich, small, big, fat, skinny, clever, dumb, sad, happy, scruffy, clean, lonely, social, opportunistic and choosy. She's like us!

Dora's goal is to take all these aspects of life and transform them into sound.
Dora does not have a fixed style. Dora is not only electronic or only acoustic. Dora allows everything. Music goes first.

Marcus Graf founded I Love Dora in 2005 while looking for a way to present his solo work.
Next to Dora he's part or founder of other groups and collectives such as Cocofield, Los Obsoletos, Normally Invisible, Florito and the Cold Collective.

Dora performance

In concert, Dora is also mainly about music. Since the perfect setting for Dora hasn't been invented yet (where the audience can lie on couches or float in zero gravity and just listen to the music surrounding them), Dora will have to adapt to current situations that venues give her.

Dora is part of the Cold Collective, a group of artists and musicians based in the Netherlands. From this group Dora will be receiving more support in the future (i.e. vocals and performance by Andrea Reyes, visuals and instruments by Peter Bindels)

Dora is not an ego-manic monster. Dora will always let the music go first and will always be concerned about leaving the audience a lasting impression.
